Jay Liebowitz, Managing Director at Centerstone, leads our debt advisory and principal investing teams. He has over twenty years of experience in the financial industry, most recently as a Managing Director with Post Advisory, a multi-billion dollar high yield credit manager. Over the years, he has invested in and or advised on billions of dollars of transactions, including some of the largest leveraged transactions in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer wellness, and animal care.

Prior to Post, Jay was at Blackstone Credit (formerly GSO Capital Partners), where he was a principal focused on high- yield, distressed, and mezzanine investments across a variety of industries.

Prior to Blackstone, Jay worked as an associate at Black Canyon (an affiliate of Canyon Capital Advisors), where he analyzed and recommended various private debt and equity investments. He began his career as a financial analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston (formerly the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette), where he focused on leveraged finance and restructuring transactions. Jay graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. Jay sits on the board of Access Youth Academy, a non-profit focused on urban youth.
